Wassa – Rhythms of West Africa
Wassa is a six-piece percussion group performing traditional rhythms from Guinea, West Africa on djembes and dunduns.
The group has been performing since 2001 all over North Queensland and as far as Papua New Guinea on two occasions. With vibrant costumes and high energy rhythms and chants, Wassa adds a unique musical dimension to any event.
The group is available to perform for corporate events, schools, festivals and private functions.
