Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for your performance at Peppers for DASSH. That could have been a very tough crowd and a nightmare gig, but in your professional energetic hands, they melted and were all yours! Has to be a record for the greatest number of professors banging their own drums! Sincere thanks from us Alex. You did us all proud - JCU, Townsville, FAESS, humanity, etc.....

The feedback from the workgroup was very positive on the drum circle activity. In many instances it was their highlight and a great way to finish off the day of team building and leadership.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for your energy on Saturday evening. Everyone really enjoyed it. I don't think I have laughed that hard for ages, geez it was funny watching my family! Thanks again and I look forward to the next time our paths cross.

On behalf of the WHALE (Working Hard At Laughing Everyday) Team, I would like to thank you for making our day on Saturday. We have received so many comments, good ones of course. All enjoyed the drumming very much. We could not have picked anything better to help us convey our work hard at laughing everyday concepts. You and your drum circle were perfect.

Alex you're insane - how can you remember all those names ????? We had a ball - I absolutely love the look on peoples faces who have never done drumming before. I am convinced that it really made a difference when we got into the restaurant too as everyone took the enthusiasm with them and were straight into plenty of story telling like they had known each other for ages as they had already had "bonded".

It isn't just about the drums Alex - it's about your energy and enthusiasm and genuine nature.... and of course your memory!!!!

Thank you for your wonderful contribution to ExamPlan which was enjoyed by all (and me). We received overwhelming support for the event to be held each semester, so please keep the drums hot for semester two.

Thanks so much for everything that you’ve done for us in Townsville, the drumming sessions have been very enjoyable for all involved and greatly assisted with getting the participants from different services to get to know each other and work together.

Thanks again for running the drumming session, it put smiles on dials and was a highlight of the conference!

I had so much fun on Wednesday evening and am so happy that I got to participate in your drumming session. I will definitively be at the full moon drumming next week!

Just home from the drumming and felt compelled to write and say THANKS!!!! We had to dash off so couldn't come to thank you in person. The family from Liberia LOVED it! J was the little fella who was on the big drum with the sticks that you joined at the end.

Anyway they all loved it and are so excited about next months, especially because it’s on Sunday so we'll make an afternoon of it.

The drumming circle has such a lovely community spirit. I definitely recommend the drumming circle, no stress about language barriers and a welcoming multicultural environment..... perfect!

Thank you very much for your contribution to the James Cook University 2009 Senior Staff Conference held at Rydges Sebaya Resort, Port Douglas.

Your drum circle significantly enhanced the 2009 program and I would like to extend a warm thank you on behalf of the delegates and organizing committee. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback in response from those who participated.

We look forward to work with you in the future.

Thank you for such a great experience yesterday. You certainly brought out the rhythm in all who participated, even those who said they didn’t have any...

Having participated with my young son in your drum circles I would like to express my recognition of your passion for music and the ability to share that love and infuse it to others, this is a credit to you. In an age of computers/Xbox/Wii, your ability to show children and adults that music can be fun is a wonderful attribute. Congratulations!!
