The Rhythm Connection has provided Drum Circles for a number of conferences and corporate events around North Queensland and as far as Sydney. Drum Circles are used not only as an Ice Breaker or group mixer; benefits of Drum Circles within organisations include stress reduction, improved staff performance and staff relations, increased motivation, and heightened levels of communication and staff morale.
Festivals
Drum Circles are gaining a huge popularity at festivals all around Australia. The Rhythm Connection has conducted Drum Circles at North Queensland festivals such as Cultural Fest, Thuringowa River Festival, Yungaburra Folk Festival and the Innisfail and Ingham Harvest Festivals. Drum Circles add an extra dimension of fun and musical experience at any festival.
Schools and Private Events
School music programs and other school events benefit from Drum Circles facilitated by The Rhythm Connection as it provides young people with an inclusive activity that is high energy, expressive and most of all - FUN! The Rhythm Connection provides young people with an opportunity to explore various types of drums and percussion instruments from around the world and take part in a non-threatening orchestrated music making activity.
Drum Circles have also proven effective at other private events including Christmas parties, birthday parties and even weddings! Drum Circles make these events memorable and inject an atmosphere of festivity to any of these events.
